I have a second cousin named Rino. He's about 70 and lives in Chicago with his family. A few years back, he ended up writing a book about his life. It starts off like this:
"My life was harder and more dangerous than the movie "Fatal Attraction". The love story on the boat as a seventeen year old boy was more romantic than the movie "Titanic" except that my boat didn't sink."
Aside from the blatant grammatical errors...this book is way, way out there.
At the end you stumble upon "Rino's Philosophy" and it goes a little something like this:
1)Avoid any kind of accident.
2)Be in good health.
3)Think about Christopher Reeves.
THINK ABOUT CHRISTOPHER FUCKIN REEVES!??! What ever happened to laugh more and worry less? I should ask him why he picked superman. Who did he think about before Christopher Reeves got hurt, Lincoln?
There is one thing that stuck with me and it kind of pertains to the situation I am currently in. His father used to say, "If you're thirsty, who's supposed to move, the fountain or you?"
Time to go get a drink....;P
