Update
It's been a busier than usual Christmas/new year period for me despite my work being predictably slow at this time of year (mainly because most of my clients are businesses and are closed). The main thing that has kept me busy is moving. After 25 years, 1 month and 22 days of living in the same house, I moved out of home. I'm slowly getting used to calling somewhere else home. Hopefully raine_girl doesn’t go too insane from living with me :).
A quick rundown of my Christmas/new year:
Dec 18: Moved most of my stuff. First night sleeping at the new place.
Dec 19: Completed moving everything.
Dec 21: Internet connection came online at the new place just in time to save me from going insane without it :)
Dec 22: Braved the crowded shops to do all my Christmas shopping.
Xmas day: Went home to Kingsley and had a chillaxed day eating too much and swimming in the pool.
Boxing day: BBQ/Party at Stefan's place. Drank a lot and had heaps of fun.
Dec 29: Drove out to Gidgegannup to have a look at my Mum’s new 100 (I think) acre property. That’s a lot of bush. Rode a quad bike around the perimeter.
New Years Eve: Party @ 84b (Party Central!). It was a great night. Kudos to Chris and everyone else involved in organising the night. I cant work out if I drank too much, or not quite enough. The photos have provided material for 2 new userpics :)
Jan 2: Back into the swing of it with work. Looks like I’ll have a good number of jobs this week which is good because I’ve been spending too much money lately.
That’s all I can think of right now.
