Dear Asus
The problem started on the 3rd day of having the motherboard. I started up windows and noticed that there was no sound. I thought it could have been from updating everything at first. So I reinstalled the real audio drivers and still no sound. So then I reinstalled windows and still nothing. I also switched out the hard drive that had windows vista and started it up and still no audio. I also checked the bios to see if there was anything wrong in there and so nothing. I noticed that none of the rear panel jacks work. The headphone jack, the mic, the line in the sub or But If I were to plug a usb audio converter I can get sound but only on my headphones and mic. So I when on the internet to see if other people had the same problem. A few people I saw said that they had to return the motherboard because the audio controller was not working. So my guess is that it could be that.
I also want to thank you for any time needed to fix my motherboard. Thank you
