A picture perfect Father's Day
It started with a bike ride to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where I sat with my book for about an hour while I drank my large White Chocolate Latte (see previous "Where's Steve" entry). Then a meandering bike ride home to get the kid and the truck. Off we went to the Balboa Pier where we met Jeff, Susan, Pearl, Dinah, and Faith. We walked out onto the pier and did some pier fishing. Jeff did some catching, but I just did some fishing. Anyway, it was great fun and the weather was perfect.
After a couple hours, we went out to the end of the pier for lunch at Ruby's where we set on the top deck, one of my favorite places on earth.
Then down onto the beach so the girls could play while I just sat with my feet in the sand (another of my favorite places on earth, and again, see previous "Where's Steve" entry.)
