I am sorry to see you go, I have loved reading your stories and the direction Ennis and Jack took you.
I don't think, in my opinion, the lessons of Ennis and Jack can ever really end. Not so long as there is prejudice in this world. Not so long as two people who are in love can't express that love in public, can't get married to whoever their hearts have chosen just because they are the same gender.
I think their story is one that is being lived at this very moment, and maybe through Jack and Ennis we can somehow make changes so that one day (hopefully sooner than later) there will be equal rights for EVERYONE including gays.
And in this particular story, I don't believe death is truly and ending, I tend to think like at the end of "A Tale of Two Cities" when Dickens says "It's a far better rest that I go to then I have ever known." Ennis and Jack are in that better resting place, living their lives, the ones they could not live here on Earth (this is again my opinion/feelings)
thanks for the memories friend, you will not be forgotten either. Happy Thanksgiving and happy life

Steve,
I've copied and printed almost all of your stories; people think me very strange as I sometimes cry and sometimes tearfully laugh while reading out of a 3-ring binder on the commuter train home. Thanks a mil, guy; can't tell you how much I appreciate your efforts. Let's have some more?

That's very flattering that you would go to that much trouble for my stories. I have a file with all of them in it, it's quite large, with pictures and such. I can zip it if you like. It's designed to read on the computer under a reading layout which looks like a book. Happy to send it to you if you like. Just email me at steven.delaune@yahoo.com.

Doug,
Don't think I will be writing anymore. My last story was about the death of Ennis and I'm not sure that I can write anything after that. We'll see about later but now, it's like the end of a chapter for me with the boys. I don't want it to happen and I still fight moving on. We'll see.
Thanks again for enjoying my stories. You don't know what it means to me when someone finds feeling and emotion in them.
