short pointless entry.

*has much work to do*

I just wanted to clarify something. That entry the other day, about people who aren't talking to me, it wasn't a ruse to get more comments to my posts or anything like that. I've been getting comments fine. Anyway, I decided a while back that I wouldn't let that get to me. No, it was about the fact that there are specific ( Read more... )

*squeezes eyes shut against spoilers and scrolls down*

I swear lj used to scroll the page down as soon as you clicked 'Leave a comment'. Huh. Anyway, I'm not sure if I am the mysteeerious fourth person, but I am aware I haven't been commenting on your entries of late. But also, haven't really been commenting on anyone's entries unless they're specifically directed at me, or contain a question to which I know the answer, or something like that. But that's to do with how tremendously busy I am. In a few weeks, though, I won't be. And that will be good.

I have to go write my dissertation now.

You are indeed Mysterious Fourth Person, but I know that there are reasons you're not commenting much, so it's okay, as they're the same reasons I'm not commenting on yours much, or many other people. We are both tremendously busy and I just failed music business. Again.

Anyway, I miss you. And the three others. But you have since said stuff to me, so the missage is less.

I will finish my essay soon. yes.

I know, and I will, as soon as this is done and I have something resembling a life again.

Although interestingly my idea of having a life is sitting at my computer. You'd think I'd want to get away from it... hmmm. I'm such a geek.

I'm back in the land of no-geeks. Like, we saw a trailer for Freaky Friday, and I said the original had a very young Jodie Foster in.

"Who's Jodie Foster?"
"Incredibly famous actress who won an Oscar?"
"What's she been in?"

*headdesk*

Sorry? Jodie who?

*grins*

Being a geek isn't about knowing Jodie Foster. It's about seeing, for example, Danny Strong in a film or something and saying 'That's Jonathan!'
