The Pat2k, Tubing, and my naked face
The Pat2k is coming up this weekend. I told Lauren I've just got to make a few arraingements in the next day or so and confirm my attendance.
Jeff, shaunathan and I went tubing yesterday. It was a bit grey outside but w/o all the cloud cover. It was pretty chill, just 3 guys and a cooler floating down the New River for a couple of hours. It'd been a while since the 3 of us had had the time to just spend quality time.
The only thing that really stood out was the people that started before us were 2 girls and one of the girls' brother who was severly autistic. He shouldn't've been doing it really. At some point they all just drifted and he got stuck on the side of the river as we float by, his sister who'd pretty much stopped paying attention yelled at us to get him loose. We'd already passed him, so I gave Shaun and Jeff my raft, try fighting my way back up to get the kid, slipped, cut my leg, fell and sliced my hand open on a jagget rock sticking out of the water. That sucked.
Oh and I completely shaved my face today. Dunno why. Just seemed like the thing to do. Having kept my face the same way for several years at least, my face just looks too weird clean cut.
So... yeah
