WEEK 2 - Review of Kath's Poem

Jul 30, 2006 11:44

Close my eyes
and count to ten.
Breathe.

When I open
everything will be restored,
back to what it used to be.

Jagged edges will be smoothed,
missing pieces will be found,
the puzzle complete.

Perfection.

I really enjoyed Kath's poem as it reminded me of how i often feel when something goes completely and utterly wrong. I know that when something bad happens i often just close my eyes and wish that when i open them again that everything will be fixed and look perfect. Well Done Kath, i know this is just a simple poem but it really does capture the mood of when a mistake is made and all you want in the world at that moment is for time to go backwards 30 seconds so that you can erase your tragic mistake.

Good Work Bucko.
