What a weekend. I went to california this weekend for coachella. One of the best shows i have ever been to. i think it was too much for the musical senses. we got in to the airport at 12:30 and met some cool guys from New York that had come out to go to the concert. But the car rental place was out of cars. so we hung with them for the night. it was quite the adventure. driving around palm springs, eating dennys at 5:30 in the morning, drinking, ya know, the usuall! haha. then we took them to the airport since the airport in palm springs had a car for them. they were really cool and invited us to come and hang in New York this summer. if i have enough money i might just do it(probably not though). so saturday we went and visited Chris's relatives for a bit. it was nice to just sit and relax, sit in the pool, and relax some more before the show. it was fun. then the concert came. Wilco was good. then it was weezer! awsome set but i wasnt' to close :( but its all good. then bauhaus...wierd to say the least(kinda sounded like kmfdm). then coldplay, oh my dear lord and savior jesus! they were the best. the best set i have ever seen. chris martin jumped down into the division in the crowd and was like 5 feet from me. it was awsome.
Good times! Sunday was the best. NIN, Gang of Four, Arcade fire(a new favorite band), blood brothers, dresden dolls, and many many more! it was the best day of music ever! i even got to pre-funk in the parking lot with a california state trooper! haha, not on duty. but he was one! met alot of cool people and hope to do it again next year! it was quite the experience!
on another note, i have agreed to take marley from dez when i go to western. she can't find somewhere to live with him with her. and she won't live by herself and leave him alone. so i'm going to take him since i'm going to live on my own up there! i have no problem with it as i think that it is horrible for the dog to have totally new people after bonding with dez and I for almost 2 months now. i will be fine with him just as long as he is potty trained by then. i just don't want to have him go seeing as dez loves him so much. and this way when we are done with school we can both have him! it shall be good! gotta love the marley.
well its back to the same old same old tomorrow! school and work......
