Holy Sheeets!
I havn't been keeping this thing updated as I should. I just spent the last half an hour looking at all my old posts! What a trip down memory lane!
The family is doing well... my daughter turned 1 a few weeks back. She is looking like her mother more and more everyday. I think she'll be walking soon as well. Taking little steps and such. Zach, well... he's Zach. I guess he is a typical 3 1/2 year old. I've been told I acted this way when I was his age. Overall, he is doing well. We have a few things we have to work on. He'll start Pre-K in the fall, which I am scared as hell about.
Valerie is still working for UGA... I'm still at the radio station. I've been getting more airtime lately. I've been fill-in for the mid-day girl on powerhouse 106.1 WNGC (100,000 watts... heard in 4 states! GA,SC,NC & TN) Have my weekend shift at AC WGMG-FM as "Zack Stephens".
I have been on a job search for some part-time work, to help us with bills. Have had so many rejections. Maybe I am over qualified? I think my schedule had a big factor. I work in the mornings until about 1pm, then pick my kids up from daycare about 5... and the wife comes home at about 7.
I want to get back into television news, so I have applied to the local NBC station in Atlanta and the NBC station in Cincinnati. The wife and I are tossing the idea of exploring options away from Georgia, if our current situation doesn't get better. I would love to move closer to mom and dad in Central Kentucky. I've been debating on applying for temp work at Toyota in Georgetown, Ky...
