Everyone out there,
I'll keep this webmaster search request & updates up for about a week.
Folks are sending in resumes which I'll glady hand over to the powers that be.
I'll give everyone about a weeks time to do so.
I wish everyone the best of course no matter what.
Karma has been good to me, and I want to pass it on to you all as well no matter what.
This is basically a webmaster job and relatively easy to do.
We are just extremely shorthanded in manpower pool on base and even less qualifed candidates over here to choose from!

Times are tough back in the USA.
The economy sucks, and unemployment is on the rise.
How would you all like to do something about all that and have a job and fun with me & Nikki over here in Japan right now then?!
:)

My employment division, the Marketing Division of Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, is looking right now for someone to manage the MCAS & MCCS Base website and who can also work running/maintaining the systems for the base digital broadcast TV stations!

( Must know/be able to program/manage websites & on the job training available for the TV station management side of things! Japanese language skills are not required, but certainly are a plus to have as we deal with lots of Japanese people daily there.)

This possition needs to be filled ASAP.

( Joe Herbert & Doug Smith*, you both are among the first candidates I had in mind for this!)
Great government employment opportunity, good pay & benefits, 41-K plan, and willing to help with relocation to Japan for the right candidate. If you are seriously interested in this position, contact Steve (Me!) for more specific information.

This is no April Fools gag.
This is for real!!
I'll also accept tips to anyone you all may know who are qualified and recommend to me as well.

PS,
I will most certainly post more information as I get it to share with all interested parties here on my FB, LJ, stevebennettart.com forums, and e-mail of course. So keep your eyes and ears open for my posts and responses!

Ok more basic info I have to share with you all now:

Wow, lot's of folks responding here!

Ok,
I hope I am tackling some concerns you may all have here below:

No Japanese language skills required but certainly a plus skill to have as we deal with the Japanese Military & Poplulation at large.

Must have a current pass port and no criminal record.
Speeding ticket and minor fines are the norm of life, arrest for criminal offenses are not.

No outlandish tattoos or body markings were visible and that cannot be covered up.
Neither the Corp or Japan tolerate excessive bodyart, tattooing & piercing despite what you may think from Otaku culture.
Most public swimming pools and establishments will bar you entry should you be a human billboard.

Must know technical support & programming operations to run & maintain the websites and systems.

Must be willing to relocate to Japan.
Single with no dependents is honestly ideal but not an employment requirement issue.
You may be hired, but that does not mean your spouse is guaranteed work on base either.
I was lucky myself!

Must have excellent team cooperation and people skills.

Must know and understand that living & working for MCCS Iwakuni is not like a joe regular job back home in the civilian economy.
We are all Civilian Marine support here and thus must conduct ourselves accordingly as representatives of the Corp and the USA properly at all times.
If you break ANY laws here no matter what, you will face Japanese as well as MCAS justice.

MCCSIwakuni.com is how the current site looks like at present.
Study it but do NOT e-mail or post anything concerning this opportunity there.

Send any and all further questions and resumes to me directly at stevebennettart@aol.com.

Keep in mind I am only a facilitator in this endeavor to help anyone that is qualified with this employment opportunity.
I am in no ways the one doing the hiring.

Steve

* Doug Smith congratulations on the steady new Comic Artist work my man!

god it is beutiful here!!
