Perhaps I Was Wrong...

Spoke to mister Gossy on MSN at work last night. He has been ground down with work this week just gone (as we all have), and had an interview for a promotion today. Suffice it to say that this is lasting all weekend (with him going up to Northampton the weekend) so plans romantic are put on the back burner again.

I nearly made him agree to make some time for our meal out on Monday. All I need to do is to book a restaurant for that evening. Anyone know of any nice Italian jobs in Gunwharf Quays?

Also had a letter through the post from University of Exeter's Alumni dudes this morning. They wanted me to keep in touch, and send in information as to how well I'm doing, what job I've got, if I'm going in to *further* further education, and so on. It is apparently so that the University can return information to those ghastly newspaper polls and statisticians about higher education. I might fill it in later on this evening when I get back from work. What made me think was the little addendum at the end of the questionnaire: "Are you in contact with any Exeter Graduates whose addresses we may not have?" Surely, if I have any friends who are so traumatised by the Exeter University experience that they have assumed new identities and fled the country, I'm unlikely to give the University their details, am I? Perhaps it's just me, but it did sound somewhat suspect.

Oh well, enough of my paranoia. I have to cook lunch before I head in to the office.

education, night out, man love
