We love This American Life whenever we happen upon it in the car. Missed my chance, due to laziness, to get tickets to it when they were traveling here earlier this year. My favorite story, so far, was act 2 in an episode called Houses of Ill Repute (http://www.thislife.org/Radio_Episode.aspx?episode=325).

That was a good episode all around! I think, of those stories, the one about the old man whose building turned into a crack house was the most interesting to me.

Giant Dr. is pretty much the exact same joke as the extemely tall cop in Police Squad!/Naked Gun.

Is the extremely tall cop an actual extremely tall cop, or somebody on another guy's shoulders who just talks about how he's giant and offers platitudes? The *actual* giant doctor is, I think, just a followup joke on the giant doctor routine that Turk and JD do. It's that routine I was referring to in my entry.

I was referring to actual tall doctor, who started doing bits that are basically rip offs of the naked gun jokes. The original routine Turk/JD do is awesome, I will agree.
