(no subject)
I finally uploaded two new userpics, since they upped the limit to six on free accounts... One of them, I realized, I'd made a long time ago but didn't upload it because at the time I was only allowed three. The other I made from scans out of The Art of My Neighbor Totoro, which my mom got me for Christmas:

I doubt I'll use them very often, though. Really, what I need is a frustrated/angry userpic, but for some reason there aren't a lot of pictures of Totoro looking angry. Perhaps I should aspire to the same. I can probably use the one I called "curious" for "confused", too, at least.
I may make a Catbus one to use for posts about travelling. I feel like it should have Totoro in it, though, since I'm apparently treating him as my online avatar. Hmm.

I've mentioned, once or twice, this actress Kristen Bell. She's definitely my new favorite by now. The other day a fansite posted images of her at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. I guess some of the swag given out was from Nintendo, because there's a picture of her brandishing a GameBoy Micro and playing a Nintendo DS.

(The biting-her-tongue thing helps, too. For some reason I really like that. It's... I dunno, playful or something?)

Teaching assigments for next quarter were given out last Friday, and I immediately tried to contact the undergraduate education chair who makes the assignments, and another TA, to see if I could trade with this other guy. Today I realized that the other TA had not only not responded to me, but hadn't even emailed the chair directly to say yea or nea. So I emailed him at a couple other possible addresses, and... still no response. Friday's basically the last day that the switch can be made, so I really hope he, like, is actually checking his email at all.
