what to see?
I have an oversupply of things to do this weekend.
One choice is the Best of SIFF, which covers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Another choice, on Saturday evening (at 8 pm) only, is a Melody Gardot jazz concert at the Moore.
The concert starts almost exactly as the 6:30 pm film (Nowhere Boy) ends, and overlaps the 9 pm film (Cell 211). I want to see both Cell 211 and Melody Gardot. What do I do?
I think the right answer is to go to the concert. It appears (according to SIFF's print source guide) that Cell 211 will be released by IFC Films. Thus it will likely show again to Seattle sooner than Melody Gardot returns.
Still, it's annoying when schedules end up in conflict like that.
