I did some more work on the structure today, but I had a lot of aches that slowed me down.
The main task was to attach tension bands across the top center block. I'm not sure whether they're necessary, because the center block should be under compression rather than tension, but it seems like worthwhile extra strength because the center block cracked when I attached the hip rafters to it and the structure's corners. It's possible that it's under compression in some directions but tension in the directions that caused the cracks.
After the bands, I stapled on some weatherstripping foam. It also may be unnecessary to protect against the rain, since I painted the center block
yesterday, but the insulation it provides should be useful when the roof goes back on to stay.
I was going to try to finish attaching the north OSB panel, and possibly adjusting the west panel, but I didn't feel up to it.
