Today, "T" needed a ride to a get-together in Bellevue, so I drove. While I waited for his thing, I talked with other nice people there, so it was no big deal to give him the ride.
After dinner (yummy leftover pasta), I went to the Pan Pacific for the SIFF "China Stars" party, which included awards for films from China (mainland only, not Hong Kong or Taiwan). I made a special point to attend because it's a party that traditionally has good food. It did again, and I talked with a lot of nice people too.
I tried to save myself the parking fee by buying something at the Whole Foods below the Pan Pacific to get validation. However, I was there longer than the validation was good - but it wasn't a big deal, because I ran past the amount of time allowed by the validation I still had to pay. But it's only $3, so no big deal.
