Parts one and two for my plan of world domination through rocking are complete.
Step 1: Reserve Rock Band
Step 2: Buy XBox 360
Step 3: Buy Rock Band
One thing that was a part of but ancillary to step 2 was picking up Call of Duty 4 alongside the console (which itself was packed in with Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, a game I had for the Wii, beat and traded in), mostly due to the fact that my coworkers are obsessed with it. Well guess what. So am I. Really, really good game, that Call of Duty 4. We've been doing multiplayer deathmatches on XBox Live. You gain experience based on winning matches, kills, assists, completing objectives or simply playing. The more experience you get, the higher ranking youi are and the more guns and other goodies you unlock. Very addictive stuff. I played the opening set piece of the campaign as well, as I consider it super neat so far.
Other thoughts concerning the XBox.
1. Biggest damned power supply I've ever seen.
2. The games are purty.
3. I seriously need to upgrade my Television to something involving HD.
