The Sweeney Todd trailer went up. It's here. The best thing about it I've seen so far? The little blurb about the rating. "MPAA Rating: R for graphic bloody violence." Hopefully it'll be in the Sleepy Hollow style, of being over the top but not to the point of parody. Depp looks good, as does Helena Bonham-Carter's chest (which, it seems, will be on ample display for most of the film). The color contrast seems interesting in the normal Burton way (my assumption is the scenes with vibrant color would be taking place during "By the Sea"). Overall, if this weren't a musical adaptation, I wouldn't have any misgivings. The one singing scene seems fine, but I still want to hear whether Helena and (especially) Baron Cohen can pull off their parts.

I will remain cautiously optimistic at this time.

Part of me wants to go to the RoH Pay Per View taping in Edison tomorrow night. But I hate the drive to Edison. So I probably won't go. Ah, well. But man, oh man do I want to see Morishima vs. Nigel.
