JoCo Cruise Crazy: Day 4

Well spotted! Clearly from Jan. 3, since I was wearing my Tolkien shirt for his birthday. We ended up along that aisle most days. Kim has apparently done a bit more picture-skimming and has spotted each of us a bit closer up. I'm on the side in this picture of Amy and Ken, our friends from the hotel, which was taken the very first afternoon as we explored the ship together. And Kim looks very windblown as she emerges from the nerd-clown-car door to the front of the ship for the group photo (being directed to the port side by Dammit Liz).

A lot of the advertised activities at this particular Jamaican location were various levels of "dolphin encounters", which I think US tourists can be charged arbitrarily much for (and which for me are tinged with some moral discomfort). Most of the rest were very "active" in one way or another (e.g. rafting, bobsledding, a zipline) that made us uneasy given Kim's pregnancy and/or my knee. And yeah, cruiseline shore excursion prices would probably go higher in an expensive location, but they don't get especially low in a cheap one.

Incidentally, you may or may not have noticed that the travel agency's official photographer is a guy named Randal Schwartz, who I'm told knows a little bit about Perl.
