super long time.

since i've neglected to update in a few months, I suppose I should take the time and write a few new posts.
College at Skagit is alright, kinda just "get it done", feeling.
I'm not impressed with the class selection. but hey, it's tiny, which makes learning a bit more personal. Today was pretty cool for biology. We took the Research Vessel from the UWlabs, out to Cattle point and pulled up sea stuff from the buttom and picked though it. lots of neat stuff, like rocks..
sea stars, britle stars, shrimp, crab, sea urchins, cucumbers, mussels, huge barnicles... rocks. all piled out on this metal table with students all around it.
Working as a waitress, makes the money, it's not my favorite. I love the people I work with, aside from them being total{holy cow grandma had a fit about that one... next time I'll think about telling her about internet journals and what NOT. This self disclosuer thing isn't right, especially when the truth can not be said, thanks for watching out for them gram, and for me} sigh*,
they are pretty fun. I met this really cool guy who came in last month. He was a clean up dude for a construction company in a nearby town. He was just visiting for a few days, so we had lunch at the Thai place and the sandwich place.
His name was Urida Brown. He's 18. I think his name was odd, but he fit the name I mean, he was really into himself, but he was polite. It was very confusing to me, he seemed gay at times, i asked, and he told me he was straight. It was an eye opening experience. He talked about doing all these things, flying and sailing, and being an apperentice for different occupations. He has his own business, online. He talked alot of sense and about his life, I talked about mine, it was nice, and besides being an almost complete stranger, he was really real. It was suprising to me that he was so young, and that he had similar experiances to mine. It felt nice to talk to someone who'd never heard my story before. And to meet someone, so talkative, and attractive as he was.

I cook dinner everynight for my dad, sister and myself, sometimes the renter guy who lives in the camper on the property with us.{This statement could also get us in trouble, for your info. but thank heavens no one is particularly interested in getting us in trouble. thanks} I can cook. I do most of the shopping as well. I know I need to get out on my own soon. It's just in me yet. I could do it, I think I'd just want to live with someone.
I want to go back home to MN though. I'm feeling a bit homesick still. Everything being so new yet, getting older.
I'm getting to know people's names and having the chances to hang out with really cool people, thanks Michael.
I'm running sound for the Playwrights festival. Which is a good step toward being on stage. I've got my tootsie in the door! The Island is crammed with actors and directors and everyone artsy fartsy.
I think I'm going to try out for the musical "music man" here in Feb. I"m excited.

anywho.
I'm thinking I should start doing "photo of the day" things.
yay.
