(no subject)
this is probably the last time ill be able to update my journal for awhile, as if ive been actually keeping up with it much recently..
friday night, the casting crowns show was great. i wish they didnt have that speaker cause i thought he was pretty corny at times. and it also broke up casting crowns' set so i didnt get to hear them sing as much as i had hoped. but then again, i never think any concert is long enough. the trip to and from the show was pretty fun too, i had some cool people with me in the car =) on the way back, mike almost made me panic when he was sitting still and suddenly jumped out of his seat hitting his leg on the dash.. he thought there was something crawling up his leg which made the rest of us start feeling phantom spiders too. WONDERFUL!
so i missed out on mutemath but sam was loyal and got me a cd while i was gone. i didnt give him enough money for a shirt so i guess ill just have to track them down again so i can get one. saturdays bands? well all i saw was bowling for soup and they were foul so i left after 3 songs. i was just really annoyed. and tired after playing 4 games of oozeball for 3 hours. the crossroads team, or should i say JUDGMENT DAY!!!!!, got all the way to the championship round and then we lost a close one =( second year in a row, man!! its ok though, we played hard. next year, we're out for blood.
chris came by that evening and we all watching divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood (he was watching it for the satisfaction of seeing so many old women, i suspect)... it was really good, im glad nadine loaned it to me!
sunday mornin, i could only go to sunday school before coming back here for the citizen leader awards. i got student employee of the year! and nadine got supervisor of the year (i nominated her, hehe).. so im pretty excited about that. (nadine however, is pissed that my blurb was not included in the program. im the only student that doesnt have like a paragraph after my name talking about me or something and shes really upset about it. i think shes trying to give lynchburg a press release or something. hahahha) after that, it was time for the kdpi initiation. diana and i filled in as prez and vp for megan and lindsey.. i was really worried about it cause pretty much no one had any idea what was going on, but we did a pretty good job of improvising. =) cause we are awesome.
jen sent me the fray cd over aim. thats all we're listening to in here. it makes my day.
what also makes my day is this saved by the bell video. its from my favorite episode OF ALL TIME!
