in other news, my hair is shoulder length now. im probly gonna straighten it tonight after i go to starbucks with aaron and rachael..
seeing laurel was great. we only got to hang out for about 3 hours, but it was well worth the time. we went to the DAV to check out their furniture and records.. her boyfriend matt got the book of mormon for like 2 bucks hahaha i told him he could just steal one of those from a hotel for free. oh well. afterwards, we went to drowsy poet (yesss) and i got a frozen white mocha.. mmm, never tried it before but i figured it would pretty much be the equivalent of the mocha frappucino at starbucks (which i got last night and will get within the next hour) annnnnd yeah. it was. i liked it. then we went driving around downtown and we got to monument terrace and got out and walked around (i took pictures of the architecture. i never paid attention to how pretty the buildings are down there) and it was cold so we got back in the car and drove around till my gas tank was on empty.
after dropping them off at my house to part ways, i went to music practice and then to granny and papaws for dinner. i told granny that the pot roast was "bangin!" as mike says. she was like ".........what?" so i explained it to her.. mike told people moms fried chicken is bangin and when i told her that, ma was like "what? banging??" and i just laughed that she kept adding the g. sooooo yeah. mom and dad kept trying to work that word into conversation for the rest of the time i was there and it cracked me up. its so funny when they try to act cool.
i hear aaron and the rachael are on their way to pick me up so i better find somethin to keep me warm. peace out dudes.
