Meh. School has kept me rather busy. Hence the slow LJ updates.
Now, in other stuffs....
Mademoiselle Butterfly. Butterfly works as a geisha in Japan. Her childhood friend Chinatsu Fukazawa is a tattoo painter (Even though the government banned tattooing.) She visits him almost every day, asking him for a tattoo. He refuses, but gives her paintings of butterflies instead. Butterfly loves her life right now, but soon a rich customer offers up money to buy Butterfly? Will Chinatsu and Butterfly be seperated? Or will they live happily ever after?
Trust me, this manga is better than its synopsis. This manga made me smile, laugh and cry. Its story and art are simple but nevertheless it was heartwarming (with heart-tugging moments) and I enjoyed reading it so much. Although the ending was rather predictable, I cried because of the sheer happiness I felt for the characters after what they had to go through. It was such a simple love story but the way it was presented just overwhelmed me ;____;
Definitely worth the read.
...Damn it, no 1/2 Prince updates for some time, considering volume 6 of the manga ain't out yet. I miss Gui. ;__;
