(no subject)
Well I just downloaded a new browser to replace IE (because IE sucks ASS, is slow, and very prone to security leaks). The replacement that I'm using now is Firefox. Seems pretty nice, quite a bit faster page loading than what IE ever did, so I'm really happy with that alone. I may have to switch the rent's computers over to this lil program when I go home.
Onto other news; I'm back in Savannah and I'm happy. Life is simpler down here with less stress and much less conflict with the rents. This is mainly because I'm not under my mom's thumb all the time and she can't just decide that I have to do this chore or that just because she wants it done right then without warning to me. Eh, whatever.
Alicia and I are doin wonderfully, and being here together just makes things better. It's almost as if we've got our own apartment and it just feels right. Great things, great things.
And our last topic is of course one of my main passions (or obsessions, who's to say?): My car's system. As of right now I only have mids and highs and it's pissing me off because I am a total bass nut. Right now, I've got my old sub (blown 12w7) and my old amp (MTX 1501d, which was great, just not enough juice for my next project) both sold. I've gotten the money for the amp, but now I'm waiting on the money from the sub (long story, the guy owes me over $500) and it's taking the guy WAY longer than what I'm comfortable with. It's been one crappy thing happening after another, keeping the guy from paying me. So basically, the bass in my truck is waiting on this guy. But as soon as I get that money, oh man, it's going to be some insane music coming from my truck! The little hondas and such around here with a pair of 10's, 12's, or ANYTHING won't stand a snowball's chance in hell compared to me. I'll be running roughly 1600watts RMS (this is 4x the amount most systems use) on a ported 12" XXX woofer from Resonant Engineering (a w7 killer in both SPL and SQ). So yeah, I can't wait for that sweet sweet thing to be in my possession.
Well.......that's about all I can think of right now, so I'm going to go find something to do.
