Dear New Manager,
No one loves you. Please leave.
Muchos eyerolling,
The staff.
Seriously. The woman *is* a fucking sniper. Just like R. said (R. being the cutie pie customer service coordinator). She's just way too "company policy" happy. Plus, she's used to running the smaller store in suburbia, not a plaza "anchor" store with high volume stock turnover. When you're a Giant Store (i.e., us) you have to just do the best you can. If the store looks half decent at closing, you've done your job. She PERSONALLY checked each rack. It took us an hour to do packup, because the idiot brought out new stock for ladies wear at 5 o'clock. WE CLOSE AT SIX. Please to not tell the ladies dep't manager to unload three racks of clothes an hour before closing, when she should be allowed to do her cleaning so we can all GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE STORE before seven. Thank ewe. Plus she made me do cart pickup when it was minus seventeen out. Yeah. Wandering around in a parking lot, looking for stray carts, in gale force winds, at dinner time, in front of the Chinese restaurant and the BBQ joint with all the marvy food smells wafting out. A sniper, I tell you.
On the bright side, the drug store in the plaza had Lindt chocolates left over from Christmas for .99 a box. And they were still good! So I bought a couple. And now I kind of have that sugar overdose tummy ache. Oh well.
And I signed up for the clinic. Cheaper than I thought. $285 for two sessions (Hunter Under Saddle and Western Horsemanship) and a stall, plus splitting the gas for Kris' rig and hydro hookup fee (sleeping in her trailer =no hotel bill). Apparently it was an invitation only deal (who knew?) so that makes me feel special, LOL! There were only something like 20 slots per session for all of Canada, and I got one in both of my preferred events. Not too shabby!
I've had Eddie Money's "Two Tickets to Paradise" song stuck in my head all. day. That's gotta mean something.
Peace!
P.S. GEONN! More Corner Gas icons? You ROCK! For realsies. :P Also, I hocked my SVU s.1 dvds, so I can buy your book now, as soon as I go to the indie book store across town (lack of major credit card makes online shopping problematic). Yay!
