Why yes, we are idiots. Why do you ask?
I, along with my very close friends, are romanceless on Valentine's, whether through our own choice, circumstance, or the fact that the majority population makes us gag. So, we decided to have a little challenge for ourselves when we write our cards to each other this year. Our valentine message had to be either in the form of bad poetry, groan inducing puns, cheesy pickup lines (my personal favourite), or another equally ridiculous yet fun style. This is what I have come up with, I hope these can be considered funny by some who share my... Let's just call it "interesting".... Sense of humour. The friends included are Mandy, the musician/choir dominatrix, Nic, the science geek, Heath, the 3-day eventing fiend, and KC, the SVUniverse Subtext Wizard in Training.
Mandy: "I'd like to harmonize my alto parts with your soprano section."
Nic: "Our love is a matter of the heart, and an element of the soul. I love you even when you're MSGing on your periodic table."
Heath: "I wanna jump your oxer after the triple combination, and take a victory lap around your water hazard."
KC: "I'll come to your chambers for a search warrant if you spend a couple minutes in my box."
I warned you that they were bad, but you didn't listen, did you?
