So, Farrah Fawcett, that's tragic, that's terrible, her boyfriend's marriage thing was skeezy as hell, but it's also probably a blessing for her.
But.
I know everybody and their cousin's dog is talking about it, but Michael Jackson?!!?! What the fucking HELL?! I'm not a rabid fan or anything, but I can't get over it. I am an eighties baby, he was everrrrrrywhere growing up... and Mich was a HUGE MJ fan, so there you go. I just can't get over it. No warning, no nothing, just BOOM. He's dead. Just goes to show you, I guess. Nobody's immune. He was soooo thin, though, I can't help but think that had something to do with it. He wasn't that old, only 50, which I know, lots of fifty year old guys have heart attacks, but still. Maybe the stress of the tour coming up? I don't know. I feel for his fans with tickets for that show, too, because you know how excited they must've been. I wasn't sure whether to believe it or not at first, because first I heard of it was from a guy at work who I am not a big fan of, and who has a reputation as a "practical joker", if you could call it that. Plus, one of the girls I work with is a huge MJ fan, so I thought maybe he was just screwing with her, until S got her Blackberry out and checked for sure, found the LA Times confirmation... just crazy.

I'm gonna go listen to Billie Jean for a while. Possibly in the dark. Possibly dancing.
