Oh my god. I've been laughing at the joke all morning, and then one of the construction workers across the way attacked some girl on the pedway like an hour ago. There was something going on ever there this morning, but I wasn't paying attention; I just thought it was kind of weird when they stopped working over there. And groaning, shuffling students wandering around is normal no matter.
I'm glad I live on campus for the summer and not in Phoenix. Fewer people, fewer zombies. I locked my door, but I doubt any of them could get that far- the building doors are all automatic lock.
Shit, no, they've been removing mattresses from the vacant rooms. Are the doors still propped open? I don't want to go look. Who all's in the building? What if I need to go to the bathroom?
My roommate's gone to work already. I don't want to think about when- if- she comes back. I don't have a shotgun or a shovel or a lighter for a hairspray flamethrower, but at least I have my copy of Homosexuality in Civilization- it's good to have an eight hundred page hardcover around when you need it.
There's sirens on Milton. Something's burning, I can see and smell the smoke. What the fuck is going on?
