Small Update or not.....
Lets see, I keep forgetting to post so I figured now was as good as time as any.
Recently we went and saw "Revenge of the Sith".. Good times :D Lucas finally redeemed himself! Now don't get me wrong, I do not loathe the 1st two as much as say The High Salami does, but we all know he is much more of a geek than I am.
Jar jar had to go, and ALOT less filler would have been nice but it was not anywhere near as bad as umm, oh, let's say "Death Stalker".
I was a little bit worried about the final installment as the reviews were for once, pretty much right down the middle. There was talk that it was prematurely ended, that it overall made fans feel robbed.
This thankfully was not the case, now I won't give anything away but the S/E went back to the basics for an all around more "dirty" look as THS would put it. More of the original feel of the models and less of the CGI.
Yoda still rocked digitally although for once his Yoda speak was driving me nuts... could be the pregnancy though >P
All in all it was fantastic, I even got a good cry out of it. Not unusual for me but I do not recall crying during any of the other installments.
My former boss was cute though.. he was so excited to tell me that when he saw it, he was able to put two and two together on something pretty much at the start of the movie.. Now just in case everyone else is slow too I won't say what it was, but it was something that most of us figured out in "The Phantom Menace". I felt bad for deflating him so I just told him I had seen the others soooo many times I must have figured it out.
Anyways, now I we just have to wait until we can get all 6 on DVD!! Woohoo then we can have an 18hr Star Wars Fest.. hmm well maybe not.
Other things...hmm well the news always amuses me so I will share todays "Idiot of the Week" Druken Idiot
Oh and driving down the street I was fortunate? to see this
