Life as Manga
More and more, it feels like I'm living in a manga.
OUR DAUNTLESS HERO WITH DREAMS OF COMIC BOOK STARDOM FACES THE ODDS WHILE ATTENDING A PRIVATE ART COLLEGE.
The "odds" being a father who has been unemployed for about two years, a mother working part time as a library clerk, and personally having no job. It's not pretty. But I'll be damned if I let financial problems get in the way of going to my school. Fuck the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
I was on YouTube, looking at Industrial dance vids (very awesome), and I found this guy who put more energy into the dance than the others. On his profile, the "about me" section had this: "Live by one rule: I make my own way in life."
That's what I want to do; make my own way in life. Right now I'm definitely in my GETMETHEFUCKOUTOFHERE phase. I think it will do me some good to have some independence and self sufficiency. Take a step back from some of the interpersonal issues that have developed.
