HELLO INTERNET I AM STILL IN CHICAGO!
I met norabombay in real life last night! Spoiler alert: she is awesome. She was kind enough to drive me all over town giving me the grand tour, and buy me excellent Cuban food, and let my stupid dog jump all over her. And I finally met the famous Tucker, who is adorable and shed all over me, so I suppose fair's fair.
Anyways, now there is a thunderstorm and it's all very exciting. The rain started coming down while I was outside letting Gunny pee and he was SO HORRIFIED. You'd think, being a Seattle dog... but no, he's a delicate flower who doesn't like getting wet. Almost knocked me over, dashing for the door as soon as he was done.
Not that I blame him, because we really don't get this kind of zero-to-soaked-in-five-seconds-or-less rain in Seattle. I don't even want to go outside to load up my stuff. I was gonna try and make Cleveland today, but looks like I might be getting a later start than I thought. Or earlier, because it's not like I'm gonna spend all morning seeing the sights at this rate. :T
