Hey guys - it's time for Tuesday Talk (throws on cheesy grin) today, when we'll be supplying you with discussion topics about the most random music-related things and hoping you'll play along with our insanity.

I don't know about you guys, but I am such a fan of musical covers. As in, songs recorded by one artist being reinterpretated by another

i love covers. basically, i like pop covers turned acoustics like boyces ave's umbrella. i also love collecting covers of songs i like, like such great heights and hallelujah.

and also, i'm grabbing some of the covers you posted! thanks!

The Boyce Ave covers are very cool. I particularly like the one I posted and his '4 Minutes' - it's neat to see a pop/electronica song being turned into an acoustic thing. I've only heard the Postal Service version of Such Great Heights - what others would you recommend? As for Hallelujah, I definitely think Jeff Buckley's is my favorite - I've only heard Jeff's, Leonard Cohen's, Jason Castro's, and Rufus Wainright's versions, though.

i've uploaded a few such great heights covers that i like. some are quite different and might be labelled as a blasphemy to the original, but i'm crazy like that

and also, i love tori amos's covers! like a prayer, total eclipse of the heart, somewhere over the rainbow. she's thhhhhhhe bomb. haha.

i'm uploading a few of her covers as i type this in case you're interested. haha. (there should be about 7 songs in there so just check later)
