So, it appears the couple snow flakes that fell in Washington, made national news. Having seen a lot of local coverage, I did not realize that some of the reports I was watching was nation coverage.

With all of the hills in the Seattle area, it does not take much snow to shut things down. The amount of snow, was predicted, the amount of freezing rain/sleet was kind of a surpise. The Everret area, tends to get the most snow in the region, fallowed by Bellingham, then Olympia (in that order). Well this time Olympia got hit the hardest, some places got 2 feet. Belfair is not too far from Olympia (road wise, I'm about 50 miles, staight line it's closer to 30 miles)

Panormic's of house and dirt road (before and after snow dustings)

1st set of pictures, a little dusting before the bigger dusting.
2nd set of pictures showing (more or less) the 10 1/2"'s we got at the "house in the woods".

roomie and I took a walk down the hill yesterday, to see how the paved streets were. The paved street are doing better then our dirt road, but later today, we are planning on venturing out. We have not left the property (via car/truck) for 5 days now.

So far, I've taken 459 pictures. Wound up with 10 panoramic's. As fun as this has been, it will be nice to get back to the normal routine of things.
