amU, another new indie technopop girl act
There are a lot of indie groups popping up in multitudes these days, who all seem to have a pretty solid technopop sound, and idol duo amU are no exception.
They've been performing a lot with Saori@destiny lately and the influence definitely shows. They also sound pretty much like a carbon copy of M.I.A. indies unit Portable. I'm digging their kind of irreverent "we're shameless perfume-technopop idols" vibe. Thoughts?
P.S. What the heck is the title of this song? I'm thinking "Greek Greek" but that doesn't seem to make sense.
Edit: Turns out it's Glueck Glueck, which is German for "luck luck". Thanks jellything!
