I caught a cold a couple of days ago, spent yesterday in bed, yadda yadda... but now the back of my MOUTH is swollen, like the infection has spread from my throat (where it wasn't very aggressive at all) to the gums around my right upper jaw, mainly at the back.
The whole right side of my FACE is slightly swollen, but I don't think it's noticeable if you don't look too closely. But I can FEEL it.
And I only JUST managed to brush my teeth, because I can BARELY OPEN MY MOUTH ENOUGH TO GET THE TOOTHBRUSH IN.
On the plus side, it doesn't exactly HURT, except when I try to chew something. OTOH, I don't need to do much chewing since I can't open my mouth enough to get anything big enough to need chewing in there.
... also, it's apparently affecting my ability to use proper grammar.
I'll stop whining now.
