Cell Phones must die

Mar 20, 2005 13:40

So i come home from work for my lunch break, and turn on CNN. Many democrats are arguing over the government being involved in the whole shiavo thing. Now, of course they are right, where does the government have any say in a private matter such as this one, especially when there are people who can represent shiavo. One of the dems made a great point on how can the gov. defend the "sanctity" of marriage, and yet go against what the husband of shiavo's wishes for his wife are. Would not he think of her and what she really wanted anyway? But as i'm watching this, the third dem goes up, and someones nextel phone goes off, and they FUCKING STOP THE PRESS CONFERENCE so he can do that instant talk thing. THey start it up again, and less then 10 seconds later he gets another one. You hear him, through the silence of the halted press conference, which is on tv, say he can't talk, that he's at this press conference thing. Have we lost all respect of others and what they have to say? Do you really think that this reporter was there to give a fair article about what was going on, or was he just there because he's being paid. And now i'm watching shaivo's brother trying to defend her, and another cell phone went off. THis is rediculous, how hard is it to turn your damn cell phone off. Show some fucking respect....

Christ, why do i have to get mad about this shit?
