No, it's just... We were frowned upon in Soul Society, because we couldn't fight, so I think that mentality just stuck with me.

I guess we were looked down upon because we didn't fight, and sometimes, we would be stuck with janitor work because of it. Although, I'm pretty pathetic, but the other members of the the division were great healers. >.> And, I don't know how the soldiers could have survived without doctors, so...
But, I guess the reason we were put in this division is because this is one of the two divisions you would go to if you couldn't fight- It was either the medical division if you had the aptitude for it, or the 12th division, which is basically the experimental division. Oh, that would be horrible, and really really really scary! *flails and squeaks just thinking about it* I think it's really cruel to just blow up people because they can't fight or heal. >.>
