I just got my shinigami robe back, but I think it's really too hot to be walking around in this all the time. I also need to look for a job, and I have been asked by the odd robots to attend the school. Is there a hospital around here?

It's really nice to have clothes again, now I can go out and meet new people. ^^ I hope they won't despise me

I'm from Soul Society- Shinigami there maintain the balance of souls between the living world and Soul Society. It's a uniform of sorts.

I'm sorry, I've never head of that. Is it a weapon of some sort? The name of a Zanpakuto..?

Deathscythe is the name of my Gundam, and I guess he was technically a weapon.

I go went by the name Shinigami during the war. Why the hell do you guys use that name?

What is a Gundam? o-o

We call ourselves Shinigami because we are grim reapers of sorts, to put it in living world terms. We help lost souls find their places. Literally- Souls of the dead are transferred to Soul Society. Sometimes, they lay in waste, and have some unfinished business, so they become Hollows, a kind of monster that only certain humans can see. They're the ghosts that haunt houses, but they can cause great damage.

We defeat the Hollows in order to keep the peace.

Uh... think of a suit of armor the size of a building and actually mostly robot. That's roughly what a Gundam is. The only "escorting" I'd do of souls was to kill them in the first place- one way or another.

I thought the Shinigami robe thing was a bad joke at first. Back home there are kids that occasionally think it's cool to imitate the Gundams and their pilots, it's really annoying.

Huh? So, in the world of the living, they must use the same term for something different. To be honest, most living souls don't know we exist.

But, I'm sure by now that this isn't even the world of the living, so it's alright to tell you this. Just don't tell anyone when you get home, alright?

Shinigami means "God of Death", roughly, where I come from.

I don't know about "world of the living" but this definitely isn't home. And you're secret's safe with me, I wouldn't want any one else edging in on the name ;)

We're not really Gods or anything, though. ^^
