Does Whatever a Spider Can...

Last week, I came into work and did the usual... grabbed the Sunday paper... checked out the deals. Imagine how pleased I was to see a little Spider-Man comic tucked away in there.

This week... another one. So, I did some detective work and came across this article.

COMICS AT YOUR DOORSTEP

Beginning this weekend, and continuing for the next year, Sunday editions of The Dallas Morning News will include reprints of the earliest Spider-Man stories. Appropriately enough, the first one will be a reprint of Amazing Fantasy No. 15, Spidey's debut. This promotion reminds me of the bizarre comics the Dallas Times Herald gave away in the early '80s. If you can track down a copy of The Amazing Spider-Man: Christmas in Dallas or The Uncanny X-Men at the State Fair of Texas, they're supposedly worth $15 today.

This is, no doubt, leading up to opening weekend for Spider-Man 3. So, keep an eye out, Spider Fans!
