can anyone help me on the math?! when he was doing that stuff for #41 and #42, i was still stuck on #40. so now i'm completely lost on #41. help me please!

yeah i dont get 40. its full of trigonometric crap. 41 and 42 are easy and, i admit, like doing 'em. thats a first. anyway it takes a while to get used to solving the problems on 40 adn 41 and 40....uhh....is crap in my head. ask me during lunch.
