i really liked the way you responded to the two texts. i have to agree with you i found Zaabalawi really difficult to get into as well but when you look at it from a different perspective you are able to get the meaning of the story out!
your poem compliments both Miss Brill and Zaabalawi, the meaning of experience and identity comes out really well
