here I am again
in a computer lab, trying to think of what I should write to you gentle
reader, how I can quickly explain what has gone on since I last
posted. I'm listening to Steven Colbert being interviewed on NPR,
via the internet and getting destracted. I've been to 4 new
countries and 5 new cities. I had a lovely time but had an
interesting travelling partner which made the trip a bit of a
challenge. I can't wait to go back to all of the cities that I
visited. All of them deserve further travels and
exploration. I have so many stories about crazy landladies who
don't speak english in Prague, trying to buy postcard stamps at the
main post office in Budapest and almost having to wait 1 1/2 hours to
get them, meeting awesome travellers from all over the world in
Bratislava, going to see an american film really hungover in Berlin,
and walking around crazy stoned and looking at cheese in a cheese shop
in Amsterdam. ahh... and those are just the beginning, just wait
till I see you in person! (i took some really pretty pictures)
I got into the fifth year and have accepted. Curiously however they gave me 3 days to accept before the deadline. Of course I begin to think, what does that mean, did they not really want me, accept me out of pity as they need older design students and I can design. Alas, I question everything. However, I have a bit of a situation...I may not pass one of my classes and if so I will not graduate. Now I have to figure out how to pass the class so that I can get the credits and graduate. I love the way that I can't do things easily and create these problems which impede what I am going to do next. I don't think I'm going to get into the internship programs I am applying for but hey we'll see and I do think 5th year would be a fabulous oppourtunity for me.
If all else fails, I have a wonderful super amzing backup plan tm. The backup plan includes living with parents, saving loads of money and going to Japan to visit Bahia, South East Asia and Austrailia to visit Lucy for three months or more!
so that's me...I booked my plane ticket I arrive on July 2nd. I'll be available for interviews and visits on the 3rd. :)...s...
