As cool as....
Guess what guys and girls...do you know what day it is? It is the bestest day in the whole year (it's a cool as christmas!) It is my very own twenty-first birthday! When I come home in 9 months, I can drink in public and buy my very own alcohol.
Last night my corridoor mates, Lucy, Richard, Tom, & Nelli plus Rachel and Robert(a guy from Kentucky that we met at the airport) went out to a lovely dinner, then went to a few bars before we arrived at the Sugarhouse and had a lovely night dancing. It was a good time, but I must say I have been drunker on other occasions,(pukeparty, that time I made monster cosmos for me and bahia, prom 2003...). I think it is for the best that I didn't get sick and I have many other opportunities to get drunk(and/or)er.
This morning, Rachel, Robert, Emma and Gemma came to my hall with a cake and candles and sang happy birthday! I got presents and got to eat cake for breakfast! Gemma made the cake from scratch & it was soooo yummmy. Then I went back to sleep and got to talk to my parents for 1/2 hour which was nice because conversations are usually less than 10 minutes because of cost.
Have a lovely day/night and remember: when you dance for 3+ hours when you have not for a long time, it causes feet and knee pain. :)
We are so gonna win the pub quiz tonight!
