I love how good movies make allow you to have really good realizations about life. I guess that is what all movies are supposed to be but.... I watched this lovely french movie about this guy from Paris who decides to spend a year in spain studying economics. He moves into an apartment with 6 other people all of whom are from different countries. One is british, one german, one italian, one danish, one spanish and another french. He goes through all these emotions about living in a different country, leaving home, learning a new language. It was really fun. But it once again got me really really excited about going abroad. I really want to go to spain again.
Work: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee... I am working on the most lovely show! It is by far the best, highest quaility show that I have ever worked on. Albee is very interesting. I can't watch it every day so I have been reading. I read: color by victoria finlay, middlesex by jeffrey Eudgenides (sp?), the weight of things by ? and now I am reading this nonfiction book about the chicago world's exposition and this serial killer who murdered people as it was going on. It's really fun. Reads like a novel, but has crazy ammounts of actual details to make is so real.
I can't believe my leaving a little less than a month away! I'm so excited, but I know it's going to be hard to leave because I have had a lovely time in Santa Cruz. And I feel soooo much better. I miss all the people who are not here right now.
Lucas is singing some song about people being dirty and... i'll leave it up to your imagination.
