that you're sick and tired
of hearing about people dying.
If there isn't enough money to help,
then help should be free.

Tell the world
that politicians should govern,
not act like corporate sponsors.
we did not elect a stooge,
and they should stop pretending to be one.

Tell the world
that hate, violence, and injustice
have no place in a world 
where we can learn and speak and smile
all at the same time.

Tell the world 
that artists and engineers
will always be needed equally. 
One to dream the best dreams,
and one to make dreams come true.

Tell the world
that you're furious
because singers and comedians pay
more attention to the news
than actual news stations.

Tell the world
to please get a grip.
Reality has always been tenuous
and doing the right thing
shouldn't really be that hard.

Tell the world
that the gay agenda 
doesn't actually exist. 
Punishing people for loving
Is a step  in the wrong direction.

Tell the world
that people shouldn't be afraid.
The future will be here anyway,
so don't worry about what you can't do
and focus on what you can change.
