(no subject)
Holy moly intoximacation!
Somehow I drank 1 glass of white wine then a WHOLE bottle of red wine all by myself. Probably because all I had to eat during the day was a banana, a yogurt, and a stalk of celery. Then dinner came along and that was it...I definitely enjoyed myself foodwise. Brendan, Pink and Lee came over for dinner along with Sheila and Else. For dinner there was: ham, turkey roast, sweet potatoes, pineapple pudding, corn souffle, noodle pudding, mac n' cheese, broccoli casserole, scalloped potatoes, salad, rolls, and applesauce. For dessert there was chocolate cream pie, strawberry shortcake and cookies. It was all very yummy. Then we played trivial pursuit. Many laughs ensued. It was definitely a good night.
Thursday night I'll be going to see Drowning Pool at the House of Blues with Brendan and Lee.
So there were several movies I've seen recently that I had wanted to see, but hadn't gotten the chance to. The 40 Year Old Virgin and The Wedding Crashers both had their moments, but neither one I thought was as funny as I thought they'd be. Of course, they were both on regular television so I'm sure there were several "good" parts cut out, but how different could they have been? Then there was Willy Wonka...I thought the special effects were cool, but as much as I've liked Johnny Depp in several other movies, he was terrible as Willy Wonka. I couldn't even finish watching it.
The Chimaira/Dethklok tour is coming to Philly. I am VERY happy about that. Now I won't have to go all the way to Mass to see 'em. It won't be til June though.
