It might be one of those days...
I was pretty much a complete bum Monday and Tuesday. Well, that's not completely true. I'm officially applied to Rutgers. You can check online to see your status and I did so yesterday, but it got me all antsy, so I'm gonna limit it to checking it once/week, I think. I also folded/put away some laundry & cleaned my room and bathroom. So I wasn't completely unproductive.
My parents are currently in AC. I thought there were coming home tonight, but apparently they're gonna stay another night. I'm just tired as fuck right now because the dogs become restless the 1st night or 2 when my parents, particularly my mom, go away. So basically, I didn't get to sleep til about 1 am due to their barking to be let out...again & again. Then they woke me up at about 6:45, half an hour before my alarm was set to go off. Hopefully it'll be better tonight and I'll get more sleep.
On the bright side, Brendan came over last night. My mom even made dinner and all I had to do was to turn on the oven for an hour. We ate turkey roast, stuffed shells and baked potatoes. Then we watched The Illusionist, which is a damn good movie. The ending didn't surprise me, but it was a good one and the movie itself - the plot, the characters, the acting - was just exceptional. I knew it'd be good within the first 5 minutes.
This is gonna be a busy next few days. Aside from working today and tomorrow, I'm finally gonna meet up with Mary Klink Saturday morning. I'm hoping to get at least 5 hours in, but no more than 7 because I gotta be at Brendan's house at 6 so we can get food and then head off to the PWU vs. JCW show in Philly and I'd like to be able go home to at least change first. Saturday is also his friend Carrie's birthday, which means we'll be heading to her & Mike's place afterwards where there'll be a party going on. Seeing as how we probably won't get there til about midnight, I don't plan on doing much drinking. I prefer to drink earlier so I start sobering up earlier and can get to bed before the sun comes up. I'll probably end up staying over at Brendan's, which will take up most of my Sunday since we'll sleep and bum around and get food and watch Adult Swim too.
I haven't gotten over to the shelter this week and I was gonna go after work, since they're open til 7 Mondays and Thursdays, but seeing as how I'll have to get home to feed and let out my own dogs, I won't be able to. I'm feeling guilty, but I'll make it up to them next week though. As for the rest of next week, I have no specific plans other than work. My right turn signal is out, so maybe I'll go get that fixed. Hopefully there'll be another date night too.
