I know my last post was monstrous, but just outta curiosity...did anyone actually read the darn thing?

I've been pretty busy since the last time I posted. Brendan still sucks w/the phone, but we've been seeing each other more. Friday we went to this place called BJ's, which is like Sam's...one of those places where you can get stuff in bulk for cheaper. He had some food shopping to do & afterwards, we were gonna go somewhere else so I could get my parents' anniversary gift, but I found a nice Starbuck's gift set there along w/a bottle of wine & a card. Then back at his place, we played some Wii, which is oh so addicting.

Saturday, he came here & we went to the church for the vow renewing ceremony. I was half crying, half laughing the entire time because the service was moving, but Miguel & Chelly's son, Leandro, who were all sitting right in front of us, kept looking at us & making silly faces & random noises. Luckily, I was able to stifle most of the laughter in brendan's sleeve. Then there was a buffet afterwards, which was way yummy.

Sunday, nothing exciting happened.

Monday, I went to the mall to take back the accessories that were given to me w/my phone. One of the women was trying to give me a hard time by implying that she thought it might be too late to return any of it, but I was like, "Nope. The receipt says you have 15 days for returns and today is the 14th day," so she got owned. The other woman, the one who actually helped me, was very nice though. She was also cute, tall, & slender w/big boobs. The bitch lady, however, was just the opposite, so I'm thinking, jealousy must put her in an overall crabby mood.

Then on the way home I got pulled over for going through a yellow light that turned red while I was in the intersection. I didn't even know that was illegal & I wasn't the only one who did it, but I was the only one who got pulled over. The ticket said, "obstructing traffic," which is no points & just a fine, but still...what a jerk he was. He said next time he wouldn't be so nice, like he was doing me a favor or something & I'm thinking, "If you were so nice, then why couldn't you just give me a warning?"

Tuesday, I went over Brendan's & we basically just chilled around the house. His mom made me dinner, which was nice of her & we chatted it up a bit, which we've never really done before.

Yesterday, my mom & I did some Christmas shopping. We were also gonna put up the Christmas decorations, but just didn't get around to it. Then Miguel, Chelly, Leandro & Cesar came over for dinner. Miguel is our horse trainer & Cesar, who has only been here a week or 2, is basically his assistant. He lives in the trailer Butch used to live in. It's a cute place w/its own septic, electric, water & heat. I was surprised to find out though that he's only 21 & has been been in this country for about 5 or 6 years, mainly working on farms & living who knows where. He's originally from Mexico and all his family is back home. I know 21 isn't THAT young, but for what he's been doing, which can't be easy, it seems it. The farm he used to work at isn't too far from here, so I'm hoping he has some friends in the area. One of these days though, I might feel inclined to invite him along to a concert/wrestling show/party, etc. He seems like a nice guy, so I doubt Brendan would mind. His English isn't the best though, so hopefully it'll be good enough for him to understand what I'm saying.

Today will be dedicated to cleaning/organizing my room. I figure, if I can't even keep my room in order, then how can I expect to do so w/my life? Metaphorically speaking, this will be the start of turning over a new leaf. I do have a very good job lead on the horizon though, but I gotta finish up my 20 hours first. Which reminds me, I gotta call my mom & ask her to get me Mary Klink's number again.

Take care,

-steph
