(no subject)
one thing i absolutely love about brendan: he's NOT afraid to show affection in public. & it's not like we make people gag and/or hear them them tell us to get room. we're just sweet to each other (holding hands, hugging, him putting his arm around me...that sorta thing). i'm a very affectionate person & it's nice to have someone that reciprocates it.
last night was indeed good times. our horse came in 2nd! & although it's not 1st, 2nd is definitely not something to complain about. brendan went with & it was his 1st time at the horse races & he seemed to enjoy it. we had a yummy dinner, my mom's treat. & i bet $20 ($10 to win, $10 to show) & got back $26! my mom said that last night was the 1st time she really saw how crazy brendan is about me. she has always liked him & assumed he at least liked me, since he is my bf & all, but i guess last night the realization really hit her or something.
brendan wants us to go see borat either monday or tuesday :o)
nov. 18th = PWU, which ICP will be at
nov. 21-28 = cali
i desperately need to do some shopping. i'd like to have something to wear other than t-shirts/hoodies (in cali, that is), especially since we'll probably be hitting up a nice restaurant for dinner at least once. i do have some nice black dress pants though.
tonight my mom is making the salsa stoup/double-tiered quesadillas we saw rachael ray make on her 30-minute meals show once. she was gonna try to do it from memory, but fortunately, the recipe happens to be in one of the rachael ray cookbooks i had gotten my mom for either xmas or her b-day. or maybe mother's day. i dunno.
